My Mission

I have been a foodie for most of my life. It all started with my career, marketing natural food ingredients. For years, I traveled internationally for fun to experience new foods and customs. I learned the food palette is unlimited when it comes to spices, flavors and textures. From this, I understood that the key to a healthy lifestyle is learning how to cook plant-based foods at home using some of these techniques.

Still to this day, I frequent restaurants and/or cooking classes to learn new tricks of the trade in creating plant-based meals. And I am an internet scanner and collector of cooking books that I frequently peruse for ideas.

However, with all this pent up information, I knew it was time to share it so that you all can ‘live the best life you have’. 

As a result of all this, I am on a mission to show everyone how easy it is to live a plant-based lifestyle which includes:

  • Teaching people how to cook healthy plant-based food that is still tasty
  • Providing healthy recipes for the busy home
  • Encouraging people to try new food adventures
  • Inspiring people to improve their overall well-being
  • Reducing food waste
  • Minimizing the carbon foot and protecting our environment

How to Use my Plant-based Recipes

Customizing your own Recipe:

Recipes that I provide serve as building blocks so you can be your own chef. For instance, most of my recipes can be tailored to your own preference. As a result, these recipes with your touch become your own signature dish!

Tricks when Creating Plant-based Foods:

There are substitution recommendations when swapping out animal products with plant-based products. Keep in mind, if you are new to plant-based foods, it is wise to slowly adopt this cooking style. You will find that some substitutions may not be in parity with animal products. Therefore, it is easier to take baby steps when cooking plant-based foods.

For instance, try cooking one plant-based meal a week. As you grow more confident with ingredients, try two recipes a week. To help you with this lofty task, you can sign up for my newsletter which lets you know when a new recipe is available.

Equipment and Ingredients:

Regardless if you are a novice cook or a culinary chef, I provide a list of recommended utensils, equipment and ingredients. If you find yourself at a loss, there are always work-arounds. However, I have included links on where to buy these items. I typically recommend items that you will use continuously through-out your culinary adventures. These affiliated links help me fund future recipes and methods to help you become a master at plant-based foods.
